Three years ago, Be Smart About Art hosted a panel discussion looking at the pitfalls of hosting pop-up shows. Back then, this was a new term in the art world. Today, it’s a reality for an increasing number of dealers and curators. Even the term ‘Gallerist’ now applies to those not just with bricks and mortar spaces, but also those with purely online galleries.
We are presenting a panel of industry leaders when it comes to this 21st Century gallery model.
The talk will consider creative opportunities in staging pop-ups – as well as challenges. But not only that, the pop-up will be considered as an all-encompassing art business model.
